It makes no dadgum sense whatsoever. A reboot without the interconnectedness and interdependencies of the series cast is a total friggin' waste of time. Without them, any attempt at a Buffy resurrection is just an attempt to make money for the corporate goonbas who either have no idea what Buffy is all about or simply don't care, but instead want to suck it dry.<br /><br />What the hell, man. It'd be like if they changed the entire crew of the Enterprise for the very first Star Trek movie. That'd have gone over real well. Plus, the Enterprise crew must have been in their late 50s, early 60s, when The Undiscovered Country was made. Actually, Shatner and Nimoy were both 60. <br /><br />And now those making the new Buffy movie are telling us they want to change the crew after years and countless hours of watching and rewatching BVS? They want to change in a couple hours what took years to sow? They want to rewire our emotional attachments into an appreciation for franchise longevity minus the heart and soul of BVS?
