I've been meaning to post about this. It's not about Buffy per se, but Joss recently discussed the villain in (our) comic having a similar name to this hugely popular series, "Twilight". His actual quote was this:So far, in the dozen-plus issues that have come out, Buffy and her slayers are up against Twilight, who wants to bring an end to magic because he believes that the slayer activation caused a major imbalance between good and evil. (This Twilight, however, is not related to the other series about a girl in love with a vampire. "It wasn't actually an original idea, so I can't say, 'Oh, "Twilight," they stole it from us,' because when it comes to star-crossed lovers, honestly, who else is she going to love?" Whedon said. "Besides, vampires are sexy.")

Buffy, Infinitely incredibly superior to the overrated BLAH-NESS that is the Twilight series.( and yes, I've read all for books, seen the movie, and this it is all RIDICULOUSLY over-rated it's not that good. I'll never understand why it's so popular.
ok i like twilight but come on buffy is so much than it buffy makes a much better vampire!!!!
Buffy beats Twilight any day, I am a fan of Twilight however compare it to Buffy and No competition Buffy is the clear winner. I think that Buffy and Angel are the original Edward and Bella and are so much better

Alright now i love twilight here, but really??? Buffy is a much better plot line, also Angel and Buffy’s love is much more forbidden, I mean a slayer and a vampire in love?? Does it get much better than that?
sorry i forgot to add one more thing,
if you were offered to be a twilight vampire or the slayer, which would you choose??? Let me put it in different terms, would you pick being dammed to live in hell for eternity, or be a super strong chick who saves the world on a daily basis?
Joss Whedon never said that Stephanie Meyer stole his idea. Try reading things correctly.
