Kelley Armstrong spoke last night and revealed some Angel Comic tidbits
**Angel: Aftermath Spoiler Alert**
Reader Chris Nolan had the scoop about Kelley Armstrong's visit to the North York Central Library in Toronto last night. http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/pro_authors_uptown.jsp Thanks for the tip!
Chris says, "she revealed that the new character will probably be a were-cat." Interesting. More to come...

On a Unicorn built for two
As Buffyfest's resident gaymo it is with with many happy rainbows of goodness that I congratulate Tom Lenk on coming out!!! Despite my full on hate for Andrew, I've always reserved a special place in my... *ahem* ... heart for Mr. Lenk. What do you say, Andy? Wanna make gay babies (gaybies) together?

Joss posted on Whedonesque very early this morning
Go to Whedonesque.com for the tidbits. Basically, he's been depressed, he's ok with the changes the network make, he's better now and he looooves Eliza. Although, he does go on to say ".....though I have this fall occasionally sworn never to eat lunch with an actor I like again, I’m pretty pleased and crazy proud."
Hmmm. Let's see what happens.

Alyson Hannigan's pregnancy: Headline tidbits
Ok, so we all know by now that Buffy Royalty Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof have a bun in the oven. It's all over the internets and frankly, we weren't sure if we wanted to join in that particular fun because it's played out already. Congrats to them and yadda yadda. The interesting thing, though, is that nearly every headline mentions Buffy. "Buffy alum Alyson Hannigan is this" and "Buffy Star Alyson Hannigan is that". Not a lot of HIMYM focus. Guess the press still favors our favorite thing.
However, things like this cannot be glossed over. The headline from the Belleville News Democrat actually says 'Buffy' to become a mom. Buffy. Not Willow, not AH. WTF?? I thought for a minute that Smidge was trying to steal AH's thunder. What idiots:
http://www.bnd.com/living/story/515283.html
I guess that picture is also kind of misleading too, though.... since that is not Alexis Denisof but in fact our own, Joss Whedon. Controversy!

Whedonverse Holiday Ornament Swap!
We've decided to do a Holiday Ornament Exchange or "Swap"...notice we say holiday because not everyone worships Santa! The purpose is to craft 4-6 ornaments with a Whedonverse theme and send them to 4-6 different recipients. In return you will receive 4-6 completely different and lovely ornaments to adorn your tree or any place you'd like.
Make them out of whatever you want! Wood, knit, sew, paint, draw, sculpt, paper craft, glue, recycle old ornaments (earth friendly!)....have fun with it! I myself may make something in a Serenity Ship Shrinky dink or perhaps make some mini Stakes or something.
Whedonverse Holiday Ornament Swap sign-ups begin right now. Sign-ups will end on November 9th at 11:59 U.S. Eastern Standard Time (New York time.) To find out what time that is where you live click here.
Please be willing to go through with this entire thing before signing up. Deadbeats will ruin it and we don't want to screw anyone's holiday bushes up (hee!) Here are the guidelines:
1. Sign up for the swap by sending an email with the following information to buffyfest@aim.com by November 9th.
- name
- address
- email address
- your website or blog (if you have one)
- whether your are willing to ship internationally
2. On November 12th you'll receive an email from us containing the addresses and email addresses of 4-6 other swap participants to send your ornaments to.
3. Design a Whedon themed ornament that you can create multiples of (or make each one unique, up to you) and make your fabulous ornaments.
4. Package your ornaments well...especially if you create anything fragile. (Note that most international shipping requirements do not allow for any plant life or food type stuff.)
5. Send one of your ornaments to each person on the list of 4-6 other swap participants in your group by December 4th.
6. Sit back, relax and wait as you receive 4-6 lovely Whedonverse ornaments in the mail!
7. If you would like to share photos of the ornaments you make and receive, please do so in the swap flickr group here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/buffyfestholidayswap. You will need a flickr account to upload photos. A flickr account is free and easy to set up. you are responsible for posting your own photos if you wish to do so.
8. A note on international shipping. Please only select international shipping if you are willing to ship at least 2-3 of your ornaments overseas. Research the cost of shipping and take that into account when you design your ornament--lighter and more compact ornaments are cheaper to ship.
Any questions? Email buffyfest@aim.com

I was definitely in the pessimist camp when it came to this show. I'm glad to see I was wrong...for now.

Jeph Loeb on Issue #20 and the Animated Series
I will never stop wishing for the Buffy Animated Series to be resurrected and Loeb seems to feel the same way. The big reveal in this interview: His daughter's a Buffy fan and a Buffy/Angel shipper to boot.

More news on SMG's new HBO Project
I want to reserve my judgment, I really do, yet I can't help but feel like this is a "go nowhere fast" project and that the fear in SMG's eyes (above) is because she just saw this show's future.

Dollhouse Interview
This is the interview I was talking about, fellow Buffyfesters. It's pretty embarrassing. Also, I didn't get this far the first time I watched it, but Eliza gets very quiet during the "Buffy comparison" question. Hmmm.

Dollhouse is doomed:
I need to know exactly what this is about. A lot of people know how I feel about the last 2 seasons of Buffy (not that I'm alone in this) and this could be quite the interesting read, either way:
