Everyone here at Buffyfest knows how much I loved Andy Hallett and his portrayal of Krevlorneswath of the Deathwok clan. He was the first interview I personally ever wanted to pursue on this blog but no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get a response from him, his agent or manager. He hasn't done any interviews that I know of since that time. Maybe he was already sick....
Lorne was my favorite Angel character of them all. His vibrancy was something much needed to the cast at the time and it provided an excellent balance. I was so nervous when he was added to the opening credits (we know how that can be) but it was great that he made it to the end, and a fantastic end it was.
Hope you got to sing one last song, Mr. Hallet. This world will miss you. :(
This is such a sad news, it brings tears in my eyes every time I think about it. Just 33 years young and already taken away from his life. His talents will surely be missed!
Goodbye mister Green, you'll live on in many hearts, one of them is mine...

I'm extremely saddened by this loss of a great actor. Mr. Hallett brought an amazing energy to the character of Lorne. RIP
ReplyDeleteI'm still in shock. My heart aches at the loss of such a sweet, beautiful man. I'll be thinking of him and his family tonight.

My heart goes out to his family...
This is such a terrible loss for Andy's family and friends, as well as his extended family of fans.
ReplyDeleteI watched "Spin the Bottle" tonight after I heard the bad news, and his last line of the episode really got to me:
"Always leave 'em wantin' more, kiddo. That's the rule. Anyway, I've got no more to tell. Applause, applause..."
Oh, Ben. What a sad scene...with a whole different meaning now.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea. This sucks.
Gee...I only just heard about this.
ReplyDeleteMy condolences to his family, but also to all of his fans, too, of course.
