Happy Anniversary to Buffyfest!

Wow! We started 1 year ago as a private blog and now have over 300 posts viewed in over 100 countries! The Whedonverse community sure is vast and fabulous! We've met some awesome people and hope to meet many more this year at both the New York and San Diego ComiCons.

To commemorate this event, we're going to list the top 5 moments of the past year for our own personal pleasure:

The creation of the blog. It's obvious, but it's #1. It won't ever be on this list again, so there it is. I started it on a whim in anticipation of one of the Buffyfest parties and it's become our part time jobs.

The Buffy Winter-Con + Buffyfest 2008 - As I said, the Buffyfests are the reason we started this. They're fun, they rock, they get mispronounced by Mike's Dad. He calls it "BuffyFEAST" and we are, of course, now having a Buffyfeast. Fancy dinner party with Buffy. Can't think of a better way to spend a dreary winter night!

It's a picture on the blog of a book about the blog, with the blog in it. Ha!

We interviewed writer Kelley Armstrong! It was great to have the chance to speak with her in the summer and we're equally excited to read Angel: Aftermath which is actually coming out really soon! Seemingly the very same day the Angel:After the Fall ends on Feb 25th.

Us at the Dr. Horrible Sing-Along at the NYC Paleyfest just last month! Fun end to the year.

Edited to add, I can't believe we forgot the Whedonverse Ornament Swap. That definitely gets an honorable mention. Our holidays will be forever awesome.
