The Hollywood Vlog - Buffy #29, Angel #26, and Exurbia Reviewed

One of the things I wanted to do while in LA was do it up, vlog style, in a place that was not my bathtub. Thankfully, Ivan and Michelle had a great, cheesy idea for the perfect external location. Big thanks to Ivan for really going above and beyond. The vlog has never looked so good. Editing, effects, all shot in widescreen and glorious high definition. It'll be kind of rough going back to my usual, porcelain locale next month. For now, though, enjoy!



The two comic shops I visited were The Secret Headquarters and Meltdown Comics. Definitely check them out.

Buffy Vlog Volume the Second

So this is the second of our motley video blogs aka 'vlogs'. As we evolve and come up with new ideas, please bear with us as we shake out the bugs or do some other mixed metaphor that equates to figuring out how to make these things. In this case there are pluses and minuses.

- opening goes on forever
- Whedonverse talk is mostly covered up by talk of other randoms
- other person is talking cockney and never appears onscreen.

Buffy and Angel Comics: Vlog Review

Greetings and salutations, dear readers, old and new. Today is not only an important day in the 'verse but also for our little site. Forbidden Planet (my favorite comic book shoppe) has graciously agreed to include free Buffyfest inserts (read: awesomely smexy bookmarks) with the purchase of any Buffy or Angel related fare. Fallen Angel: Reborn BBBR Vlog Review

So, hey. This edition of my brearded blogging of blogging beardliness got a little out of hand. The good news? The review of Fallen Angel can be relied upon as being generally spoiler free (although there are some very general plot points mentioned) and brief. Of my whopping near fifteen minute diatribe the main stuff is done in the first five. If, however, you are curious as to the comics I read and are looking for recommendations then, by all means, view onward as I have a lot to say about a variety of comics that are out these days.

I look forward to hearing if any of you read the same books I do or if you decide to take my advice which you should totally do because I'm usually right and great and awesome about these things. Beard's Vloggy Demise: Only Human Review

After last week's totally bearded takeover there was only one thing left to do: shave that bad boy off and reclaim my authority as vlog reviewer du jour on this site we call Buffyfest. And so I did... on camera! Oh and, also, I reviewed some comic or whatever. Let's go to the videotape!

Between you and me (and I take you in the ultimate confidence here) I think that beard was a little bit of a brown noser. Well never you fear, Buffy peeps, because from here on out it's the straight dope because me and my side burns are all about the horrible truth. We're also about being stupid hot but, let's face, that's almost painfully obvious.
