We'll have to see how this whole Prop 8 thing plays out (because the election is not quite the be-all-and-end-all of it), but yeah, generally, this really, really sucks.
And thanks for putting a pair of (particularly lovely) human faces (albeit representing fictional characters) on this. Putting the actual, human element first and foremost in this is one of the first steps in combatting bigotry.
