The Final Four was intense, but then again we are a passionate bunch, right? Spike pretty much clobbered Willow, not a surprise...but Red had more than a few fans with 69 votes. The real surprise was Giles beating Buffy by a huge landslide at one point early on! But the slayer came back in the end to beat Giles by an even 20 points. I always thought Buffy would make it to the end, but she sure got a run for her money a few times. See below for battle for the championship:

Whilst I agree there are a few harsh comments regarding the character of Spike from Buffy voters, most of them have just been honest about his character flaws and/or actions.
The same could be said of Spike fans about Buffy.
I think it's been a pretty even playing field in regards to "Not-so-nice" comments about each character.

I'd like to thank to the Buffyfest team for the wonderful game! I loved it! And like I said before it doesn't matter who is the winner – SPUFFY is the winner! And I'm not surprised, because Spuffy wins everywhere – best TV couple , the hottest couple ever... Buffy and Spike are the best characters on Whedonverse and that is important...
In conclusion I would like to replay to some people here who think that Spike is a rapist...
I don't remember Spike to rape anyone in that show...
And about the "bathroom scene" – I couldn't call it a "rape scene", because it's not... I have two rhetorical questions :
Can you rape someone who is stronger than you? I doubt - Buffy isn't some poor, defenseless girl – she is a vampire slayer, for God sake! And she supposed to be stronger than Spike! So, that scene has nonsense for me.
Second question: Why after this "rape attempt" Buffy had brought her sister to his crypt Spike to protect her? Well, can you entrust your baby sister to the care and to the hands of someone who is a rapist?! And she was too confused when she found out that Spike's left the town... So I doubt that Buffy had looked at his act in a bathroom like a rape. Their sex during the season 6 was a kind of rough – broken buildings, bite marks, handcuffs and she enjoyed it! The sex with him made her to feel alive! Actually she was the first who started it... Nevermind – I love both of them – they are so equal - two strong and complex characters, they are a soulmates and I love their relationship – it was more interesting, more passionate relationship than the other Buffy’s relationships and that's why many people prefer it.
And I'd like to say - Spike is not evil and we, his fans aren't evil too, Anonymous you don't know us, nor Spike.

As Tara stated in the final post, we double and triple check the votes. Buffy won, not by much, but she won. We created this tournament for fun and we would never tarnish the name of this site by cheating.

All I meant was that maybe there was some kind of mistake... and HONEST mistake...nothing else...of course It was for fun, I've posted that myself on an earlier comment! Nobody is accusing anyone of nothing! And I'm just posting this because someone just went to my page on Buffytube and said that I accused you guys of cheating!
Yes that was me, Belinda. It wasn't towards you, individually. But we got word of someone insinuating otherwise on Whedonesque, of all places. This website is important to all of us here and that is rather offensive.
